you fail----
1) the 7 series of battles, that were the climax of the Great Sith War, known as the great battle(s) of Russan, which occured some 2000 yrs. before the prequel trilogy.
2) yes he was a jedi, but he was also a traitor. He was Darth Sidious' first prospect after Maul's demise, and Sidious used him, since he was an ambassodor to the Kamino folk, to establish the cloning scheme. After the clones were ordered, Sidious' other prospect, Count Jard Dooku, was choosen to be his apprentice, and Syfo-Dyas was "taken care of"...
3) Correct!!!!! there were in fact many Jedi that survived the Jedi Purge, due to them being stationed all throughout the galaxy. Some didnt even realize the republic had fallen, due to being in the outer rim, and out of transmission reach. They continued to fight dumfounded seperatist until Darth Vader and the 101st showed up to "take care of them"...

and oh btw, my only gripe was that unlike usual tests, where you will omit ones that you some how failed to cover in class, it didnt matter if the stuff was "greek" to us or not... I understand that you couldn't even begin to try to cover all of the material, thats exactly why we do our definitions; but since the two that I missed were definitions that will be completed over the break(who cares about the democrats in '68 election, Nixon won and thats that) or something completely out there about responding flexibly( i guess something to do with JFK's head being flexible in response to that "magic bullet" that thankfully "took care of him"), I was kinda bummed. If I'd known otherwise, I'd skimmed the chapters prior to the test to make sure I was "taken care of"....

ok- i'll give them a shot. here's my answers (as opposed to "hears" some easy questions)

1. clone wars?

2. wasn't he a jedi?

3. those that went into hiding (like obi-wan).

i have no idea if any of those are correct because i refuse to google them in the same way that darth houser refuses to use his book on an open book test. in a perfect world none of you would need the book. i concur with justin, you guys think open book means easy. wait until you get into ap us and check out some of those open book tests.
justin you are also correct about the quia quizzes. they do require that people remember answers but they also require that people look at the material. which is what i want to happen. the more you see it, the more it sticks to your brains.

btw, all of you seem to always want "extra credit." i really think you should get all the regular credit before we worry about extra stuff. but in an attempt to humor you all and make you think about us history while you are gorging yourself on christmas food, here is another christmas assignment.

*this is not required* but you can do this and maybe we can have some fun with it.

i will give you a list of items, you must find them, check back daily for more items.

item #1: a large brown paper bag.

thank you, that is all for now.
I find open book tests lame and feel that they don't show off someone's true "force abilities". I also think that this last test's especially low scores could be a product of over confidence. Let me explain, when someone is told that a test will be open book, they feel like excelling will be an ease, and don't take the time to study. Also, and I say this to by no means shame Cpt. Dixon, I feel that open book tests require us to technically know all of the answers, whether or not every question's material was covered in class.

Darth Houser

----- and oh yeah, i refused to use my book, or look at the quia "lets remember the answers" quizes, and missed two that were about random crap
